Manufacturing process


Harvesting


Cassia is harvested in 3 main crops thorough a year, which are approximately March - June - August of the lunar calendar. At the age of 7 years and above, cassia trees can be exploited for the bark. Barking technique: Normally, cassia bark is taken in lengths of about 45 -50 cm. The bark close to the root, trunk, and branches gives different concentrations of essential oils.
