 Crushing and screening plant

The 0~200mm limestone is transported to the storage yard and one month stock shall be kept.


The yard limestone is unloaded to the limestone silo by the loader, then goes to the double-layer vibrating screen through the vibrating feeder at the bottom of silo. After screening, the limestone is divided into three kinds which are 0~10mm, 10~40mm and 40~200mm. The 0~10mm limestone is directly sent to the powder pile; the 10~40mm limestone is sent to bucket elevator through belt conveyor, then lifted up to the top silo at the rotary kiln end; the 40~200mm limestone is sent to the jaw crusher for crushing to 0~40mm size through the belt conveyor, then sent to the vibrating screen to get the 10~40mm qualified size.

The limestone in the silo goes into the rotary kiln through the vibrating feeder and chute. The material gradually moves from the tail to the head of rotary kiln and then being discharged. The limestone is calcined to active lime by 1300°Ctemperature in the rotary kiln, then goes to the cooler for cooling down to 70°C. Then the finished lime is lifted to the finished product silo by bucket elevator.

The flue gas from the rotary kiln will be discharged to the atmosphere by natural suction force through the chimney after going through the dust collecting chamber.
