Application:
Verge Straw Wrapping Paper is used as a filtration material (i.e., filter tow and plasticizer), which wraps the outer layer of the cigarette filter plug, while a tipping paper holds the filter to the cigarette rod.
We can supply a wide range of Verge Straw Wrapping Paper, starting from 23 gsm up to 27-30 gsm. Both high-porous and non-porous papers are in our range. Common porosities are 2000 CU – 6000 CU – 12000 CU up to 32000 CU.
High-porosity Verge Straw Wrapping Paper is used to wrap the cigarette plug, in order to ventilate it together with the perforated cigarette mouthpiece paper, thus reducing the smoke and tar content in the smoke. Apart from properties such as mass (g/m2), breaking length, opacity and texture, the most important properties of highly porous Verge Straw Wrapping Paper refer to their permeability.
Our Verge Straw Wrapping Paper machine can be used on various high speed machines for high output cigarette filter production.The products can meet the design requirements of filters with different structures.
