TSUNAN SAKE BREWERY CO.,LTD
This sake brewery is located in Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture, one of the snowiest areas in the world. It was established in 1996 by local farmers who produce "Gohyakumangoku" sake rice, the town of Tsunan, and the Japan Agricultural Cooperation Agency (JA).Sake brewing is done mainly only during the snow season. Despite its short history as a sake brewery, it has won many awards, most recently the International Wine Challenge, London Sake Challenge, and the National New Sake Competition.
