The pump driven by the EC motor uses PWM frequency conversion speed regulation technology in the control system, which can realize closed-loop speed control, that is, automatically collect the changes of external conditions such as pressure and other signals to change the pump flow and head by adjusting the motor speed.
The diagram of the control system is shown in the figure By collecting the water pressure at the water supply point and feeding it back to the controller, the deviation generated by
comparing with the water pressure setting value is adjusted and then the output signal is output to the driver built in the EC motor to realize the variable frequency and variable speed operation of the pump motor to obtain a stable water outlet water pressure.
The system mainly consists of three parts:
（1）EC motor pump
（2）Pressure sensor
（3）Logic controller
The control process of the system is: the pressure sensor measures the water outlet pressure, converts it into a corresponding 0-10V standard electrical signal, and sends it to the controller to compare with the set value required by the process to obtain the deviation. The deviation value is calculated by the regulator according to the preset regulation law to obtain the regulation signal. After processing, the signal is sent to the built-in driver of the motor to drive the water pump motor to adjust the speed. The energy-saving effect of the EC motor pump is very significant. After actual measurement, it saves about 43% of the electric energy compared with the traditional water pump, and the noise is low.
The energy saving effect is very significant, which improves the power factor of the motor, reduces the reactive power
consumption, and has obvious economic benefits.
After the speed regulation technology is adopted, the stator current of the motor decreases, and the water pressure of the water pump is constant. Due to the general decrease in the speed of the motor water pump, the operation of the motor water pump is significantly improved, the service life of the equipment is prolonged, and the maintenance cost of the equipment is reduced. At the same time, due to the smooth start and speed regulation of the frequency converter, the impact on the power grid is reduced.
The system adopts closed-loop control, the parameter overshoot fluctuation range is small, and the deviation can be controlled in time. The acceleration and deceleration of the inverter can be adjusted automatically according to the technological requirements, and the control precision is high.
Because the variable frequency speed governor has very sensitive fault detection, diagnosis and digital display functions, the reliability of the motor pump operation is improved.
