Chip Resistor
Chip resistors are also called chip resistors or surface mount resistors. Like other chip components, they are a new generation of leadless or short lead micro electronic components suitable for surface mount technology (SMT). The welding surface of the leading out end is on the same plane. The main function of chip resistance in the circuit is to reduce the voltage and share a part of the voltage, namely, voltage division, current limiting protection circuit, shunt, etc. It can also be used as time circuit components and sensors.

The surface mounted resistor is one of the components of the surface mounted element. It is a passive component and is mainly used for thick film and thin film circuits as external components.
