The set of these forceps are one of OEM components for medical device in a mininal invasive surgery.
Components with complicated design can be manufactured with our micro metal injection moulding or µ-MIM® technology for mass production.
Smooth surface finishing was required for these forceps so the miling and cutting process were considered as manufacturing methods.
On the other hand, those methods require many production steps depending on the reqirement of smooth surface and the complexity of components caused by slow cutting speed and many chucking position.
Furthermore, in the case of large production quantity, the longer lead time has to be estimated.
Besides that, with our metal injection moulding process, the mould will be designed satisfying very tight tolerance required.
If the components have complex part such as undercut shape, free curve and hollow structure, we would offer 3D-MIM® which frees manufacturers from design restriction.
You might sketch your metal parts as you want first. Then we will suggest you the best solution. Moreover, our feedstock is made of world-leading fine metal powder and our original plastic binder prevents the distortion of the green body and the smooth surface is realised.
For small, complicated metal components we manufacture, we apply very high resolution quality assurance system such as X-ray CT, optical 3D measurement machine and contacting 3D measurement machine, etc.
Our production method including this measeurement system are certified by ISO 13485, the international standard for the production of the metal components for the medical industry.
Through the installation and operation of them, we have accumulated reliable know-how about analysis and measurement of small metal components with very tight tolerance.
Please feel free to ask us for the mass production of your forceps and other small metal components by our µ-MIM®

Micro MIM Japan Holdings Inc. and its group companies cooperate as a team to cater for various needs of our customers from different parts of the world.
Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established in January 1972 as a plastic injection moulding manufacturer. Aside from improving our technology in the plastic injection moulding, we organised an R&D group in Kyoto Research Park about 25 years ago, to start researching on MIM technology. We utilise our knowledge and experience from the plastic injection moulding and developed original MIM material (binder system and feedstock), which makes it possible to manufacture small and complex shaped MIM components for serial production. Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. has obtained ISO13485 in May 2019. TAISEI KOGYO (THAILAND) CO., LTD. was established in August 2011 and started its operation in 2012. We maintain the same production standard as Japanese factory.
