To express the beauty of white porcelain, which is inherent in the raw material, "Amakusa porcelain stone," of Arita ware, the glaze is kneaded into the clay, and the piece is fired in the main kiln without glazing. Rationalizing the two firing processes has also reduced greenhouse gas emissions and costs. We hope that more people will enjoy Arita ware by keeping the product price low. The surface has a matte texture and beautiful translucency. The glaze is kneaded into the surface, so it is not thick and has an attractive, sharp shape. In addition, by not glazing, a small amount of "iron," a clay component, may appear. The "iron" is a
natural part of the material, and we hope you will enjoy it as a characteristic of Tenpaku products.
