Coffee bio-composite is a innovative material made from coffee waste and recycled primary plastics. It is a carbon negative material and eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials.
Production process: Coffee waste is collected from coffee shop chains and processing factories. The waste is then dried to remove moisture and mixed with recycled plastic to act as a binding agent. The resulting mixture is heated and extruded into pellets that can be further processed using common plastic industry technologies like injection molding, extrusion, and blowing film.

When these products biodegrade, they turn into harmless substances like water, CO2, and biomass within 12 months, providing nutrients for plant development, including coffee plants which produce feedstock for manufacturing Coffee Bio-composite, to complete the closed-loop life cycle.
