“Amendoro” is the dialect of the Minami Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, and refers to sweet potato nectar. Sweet potato
is the only raw material for Amendoro Junimitsu. In Kagoshima, sweet potato syrup has been made since the Edo period, and has been
passed down as a traditional food culture. In 2013, we succeeded in commercializing additive-free sweet potato honey made from
100% sweet potatoes, which is unique in the world, using a unique patented manufacturing method developed jointly with a
university laboratory. It is an additive-free natural syrup that purely pursues the deliciousness and nutritional functions of
sweet potatoes without using any additives. Different from honey, maple syrup, and other sugary nectar, these two types of
Japanese nectar are gentle on the body, so everyone from infants to the elderly can enjoy them.
