The main purpose
EVA resin is ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer, generally vinyl acetate (VA) content in 5%~40%. Compared with polyethylene, EVA, due to the introduction of vinyl acetate monomer in the molecular chain, thereby reducing the high crystallinity, improve the flexibility, impact resistance, filler solubility and thermal sealing performance, is widely used in the foamy shoe material, functional shed film, packaging film, hot melt adhesive, wire and cable and toys and other fields. In general, the performance of EVA resins depends mainly on the content of vinyl acetate on the molecular chain. In 2001, the market consumption of EVA resin in China was about 290 kt. With the development of China's shoe industry and the increase of the amount of functional shed film, China's demand for EVA resin will increase year by year.
