Sorbitol
Sorbitol is a natural carbohydrate found in many berries and fruits, such as apples, prunes, cherries, and grapes.
Sorbitol, which finds application areas such as sweetener and humectant in the food industry, is also used in the pharmaceutical field, as well as toothpaste, chewing gum, cough lozenges, cosmetics and tobacco product formulations.
Although SORBITOL LIQUID does not cause plaque formation on the teeth, it is a good additive for chewing gums and acts as ahumectant and sweetener in these products. Sorbitol, which is also used as a flavoring agent, does not decompose and finds application in the pharmaceutical industry as a raw material for vitamin C production.
Store drums, cans and IBC packages in closed and dry places. Store the products shipped in bulk in sterile stainless steel tanks. It is recommended to store in stainless steel tanks with a heating system. Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
SUNSORB 70/70 tends to crystallize in cold weather conditions. If crystallization has occurred, the product can be restored to its normal state without losing its properties by heat and stirring.
