Silicon barium inoculant is a block metallurgical material by blending silicon powder and barium powder according to the required ratio with high temperature furnace. It is an additive in the casting process of the foundry.

Application:
1. It can effectively reduce the undercoolingof molten iron, promote the precipitation of graphite, significantly reduce the
tendency of white mouth, reduce the relative hardness, and improve the cutting performance of casting
2. Strong anti-recessionability. The anti-regression time is twice as long as 75 silicon. Also, the addition amount of
silicon-barium inoculant is less than half of 75 ferrosilicon inoculant, while preventing the associated nodularity and decay.
3. Stable chemical composition, uniform processing particle size, small composition and quality deviation.
4. It is a powerful deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the steel making process. The mechanical properties of steel can be improved by adding silicon-barium to the steel.
