Operating Procedure:
The sample is placed in a refractory thimble and washed with condensed toluene vapors leaving only insoluble matter, the residue is calculated as a percentage of the total mass.
Construction Details:
Extraction apparatus consisting of Erlenmeyer extraction flask, 1000ml capacity, block tin coil condenser, water cup and extraction thimble suspended by means of a corrosion resistant wire.
