The Reventino Agroalimentare S.r.l. was born in 2008 with the intention of promoting, enhancing and updating local food and gastronomic traditions and, specifically, of the Reventino area and the Catanzaro pre-Sila area.
After extensive research on the uses and gastronomic cultures of the territory, it was decided to start the recovery of ancient flavors starting from the primary food of our populations: Pasta. It identifies in the whole world the authentic Made in Italy. Even medicine has recognized its important nutritional and healthy qualities, demonstrating how its intake leads to an increase in the production of serotonin in the brain and, therefore, to an increase in serenity and quality of sleep. It is tasty, nutritious, digestible and with the property of satisfying and satisfying more than any other food.
We of Reventino Agroalimentare S.r.l. we have decided, on the path of a centuries-old tradition handed down from generation to generation by our family, to develop a product that, in respect of traditionalism and unsurpassed artisan quality, also meets the requirements that the contemporary market imposes. It was decided to focus on raw materials of southern origin, selected, selected and controlled with the utmost care and on a careful craftsmanship with the aim of obtaining a product capable of enhancing the taste of the old tradition. The company takes the name of Pastificio CARDAMONE in memory of our ancestors. It is located in the oldest inhabited center of the Municipality of Soveria Mannelli: San Tommaso, a historic village whose origins predate the birth of the same Municipality. In respect of history and tradition it was decided to create our product, following the Calabrian tradition, but with a revisitation and an opening to the gastronomic customs of the whole of Italy. The Cardamone Pasta is produced with the best Durum Wheat Semolina, with the undisputed and exceptional characteristics, with very pure water that flows from the fresh and clear Silane Sources and bacteriologically controlled.

The Products through a vibrating belt, are accompanied in the trabatto (a natural process of ventilated hot air which guarantees the dough drying of the external part and also has the function of not letting it stick together). The products made, placed on the frames and placed on the trolleys, are sent to the dryer where, with the right combination of humidity and temperature, the very slow drying process starts, lasting about twenty-two/thirty hours. This allows to obtain a dry, elastic, digestible and intact product in its organoleptic characteristics. Low temperatures do not allow the product excessive temperature changes, thus giving the product high quality. After drying, we proceed to the maturation phase lasting about six hours. We then proceed to the weighing, packaging and labeling phase, taking care of the final appearance in a careful and precise manner. The high quality of the raw materials and the help of these artisan processes make the Pasta Palatability and Digestibility.
