Prouct Introduction and Attributes
1.The full name of PBS is Poly(Butylene Succinate). It is white or yellowish white granules, odorless and tasteless.
PBS is polycondensated from succinic acid and 1,4butanediol. Melting point is about 115°C; density is 1.26g/cm3.The product has the performance of good toughness, high tensile strength, great heat resistance, wide range of
processing temperature, and can be processed and molded on general plastic molding equipments. Under specific
circumstances, such as compost, sea water or natural environment, the product can be degraded into CO2 and water
by microorganiKSs. It is fully biodegradable materials with high comprehensive performance.
2.PBS is crystallized biodegradable polyester. Its pellets are white or weak yellow. It have high mechanical performance,
good toughness, good thermal stability, wide range of processing temperature and high heat deflection temperature. It can
be processed by various molding way with normal equipments. So it has excellent comprehensive properties. To meet the
requirements of various products, it can be mixed with other biodegradable or natural materials, such as PLA, PPC, PHAs,
PCL and starch or wood powder.

PBS has good performance in terms of strength, hardness, rigidity, toughness and heat resistance. It is suitable for the
application of injection molding, sheet extrusion, plastic uptake, and textile fibers.
It can be used in packaging, one-time tableware, engineering, medicine, agriculture, releasing and ecological materials.
