There are 3 channels for king light: the first two is for “brightness percentage setting for 24 whole hours, and the last one is for auxiliary light timing or sunrise/sunset simulation (for the types without auxiliary light); some certain brightness can be set for whole hour time (accurate to per hour), and stepless brightness variation is automatically controlled by program.

 

Repeated brightness variation is achieved with this program within 24 hours, brightening or dimming gradually. 
Color temperature for each period of a day can be simulated by brightness mating at 2 channels, cool blue in the early morning, light yellow later, then highly bright at noon, golden yellow in the evening and dull blue at night. Certain brightness can be maintained during each period; it is also suitable to keep LPS that needs little illumination in the beginning.

 

    Manual mode: Every channel of lamp can be turned on or off at any time; the brightness can also be regulated manually or kept at some certain degree.

 

Color temperature simulation: Turn on the blue lighting group in the morning, now the color temperature is the highest, full of deep blue; when turn on the white lighting group, it will be brighter gradually, like sunrise, then it becomes the most bright till noon. In the afternoon, it gets darker gradually, and then the blue moon light is shining in the aquarium at night.

KEY-LED high power single LED with dedicated 75°lens (type: B40, B25 no lens) has achieved minimum light loss, making the light and light energy concentrate within the aquarium at the greatest degree (unlike other traditional lamps and lanterns, 10~25% light emits outside the aquarium or reflects with loss). So it can greatly save electric energy, plus the high light efficiency of LED, 60% of wattage (power) is sufficient to replace other traditional lamps and lanterns, thus to save the player's cost.

 

 

 

KEY-LED lamps and lanterns especially for fresh water and aquatic plants take external constant current power supply, each lamp is controlled by 2~4 external power supply. A single timer is used to respectively give timing control, getting different brightness in different period. One group is enough at night, not only satisfying the night visual effect, but also saving electric energy, unlike traditional lamps and lanterns that demand overall on or off.

 

 

 

KEY-LED high power LED lamps and lanterns, 3W for each LED, can bring brand-new tiny water wave effect into the aquarium, closer to the natural view. Players can use upstream water inlet to get waves with glistening light, which is impossible by traditional T5 lamps and lanterns. Similar to the effect of HQI aquatic plants lamps and lanterns, but it will not affect the water temperature, so working time of the water chiller in summer can be reduced.

 

 

 

KEY-LED special LED lamps and lanterns for fresh water and aquatic plants are mated with a variety of brackets, which can be suspended by relevant parts (suspension support is out of supply scope), or framed above onto the aquarium with acrylic stents (standard 8 mm transparent acrylic). There is no trouble for players to install or suspend lamps and lanterns hanging. 26cm width for -UL type, the LED distribution is more uniform, suitable for aquarium of 50cm width.

 1. Cooling Effect and LED Life:

 

 

 

As is known to all, high power LED lamps and lanterns has a long service life, many manufacturers in the advertising claims that LED life can reach tens of thousands of hours, but they really did not fully consider the heat influence onto LED light failure when designing products. Many products use small radiators for fan cooling, which is not an ideal solution: on one hand the fan will cause noise and it would be trouble to replace it, on the other hand fan is consumable, once it halts, LED life will be greatly decreased, so will brightness of a lot of products after 1~2 years, unable to meet the light needs of aquatic biological animals.

 

 

 

KEY-LED-K4 series aquarium lamps and lanterns take advanced aluminum radiator, through years of testing and product improvement, the cooling area has been optimized, for example, special cooling tooth design achieve good effect without fan cooling. LED distribution is uniform, thus heat is not easy to gather together, so that LED keeps the highest brightness with small light failure to maintain a real long service life.

 

 

 

 

 

2. LED Spectrum & Light Distribution:

 

 Other LED products are more suitable for home lighting. They are more designed to be condensation light in high-integrating form, that is, a lot of LED gathers together and emit the light via a wide angle lens. There will be uneven light distribution in the aquarium, causing local highlight, which is bad for living beings. 

 

 

 

KEY-LED-K4 series aquarium lamps and lanterns take distributed design. Width of lamps and lanterns is 300 mm; LED relatively illuminates the aquarium uniformly, improving visual effect. 3. Power Supply & Control Mode:

 

 

 

 

Other LED lamps and lanterns in non-constant current power supply mode have a decreased service life; while common switch mode to control the lamps and lanterns also can not satisfy the requirements of aquarium hobbyists.

 

 

 

 

KEY-LED-K4 series aquarium lamps and lanterns launch automatic dimming types (-D & -D-EX) for advanced users’ option. We spare no expense for the UL certificate of constant current dimming power for 24 hours brightness setting. The blue and white LED groups can be regulated respectively at different time point to simulate the color temperature of the whole day, bringing aquarium fans different visual effect. Brightness change is really stepless, natural and soft, not scaring the fish.

 

 

 

Repair & Maintenance:

 

 

 

1. Importance of Modular Design:

 

 

 

Other LED lamps and lanterns adopt integrated LED design, if one LED is damaged (1 single out), ordinary users can't replace it. Although cost is reduced, later maintenance will be very difficult. In addition, if there is the single high-wattage power failure, the whole lamp will not be bright, which really drives aquarium fans very distressed.

 

 

 

KEY-LED-K4 series aquarium lamps and lanterns have the protection chip for every single LED, so even 1 is out, it won't affect the other LED in this group. 2 LED share one module, this design approach makes replacement very simple (using a screwdriver), just change the damaged LED module. There are several independent powers to control lamps and lanterns in the external power control box, so users just need to replace it if any one is damaged (also using a screwdriver), even if one group is out, the other groups still can work normally. Players have the time to get parts for maintenance and won't make aquarium out of lighting for many days, greatly waiving their maintenance difficulties.

 

 

 

2. Use & Maintenance:

 

 

 

KEY-LED-K4 series aquarium lamps and lanterns all adopt modular design, so each part can be replaced. Even if it falls into the water occasionally, you just need to change the circuit panel, for internal independent power supply is waterproof, when LED gets some water, it still can be used after getting clean and dry.

 

 

 

There is a temperature control fan in external power control box. Erasing external dust every few weeks can prolong the service life. Waterproof gear surface should be wiped with a pinch of salt every few weeks to reduce the light loss. There is no need to change the LED for several years, if you want to change different colors, we will also provide LED modules for your replacement. 

 

 

 

We provide warranty service at least one year, long-term spare parts supply for maintenance and replacement.
