PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

VVRS SALE AND SHOW is suitable for feeding to stud and show cattle in conjunction with quality roughage.

 

VVRS SALE AND SHOW is available in meal or pellet form.

 

COMPOSITION

• Base grain as depicted seasonally, and therefore the proportions may vary.

• Barley, wheat, maize, sorghum, bran and pollard, vegetable protein meals, full fat soybean meal, molasses, vegetable oil, limestone, sodium bentonite, dicalcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, salt, monensin sodium, organic zinc, flavouring, VVRS ruminant vitamin & mineral premix.

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE FEED. It has been designed to fed with hay, pasture or silage.

• The roughage supplied should be supplied ad-lib (in racks or a pasture) or mixed in with the SALE AND SHOW. The intake of roughage should be 50% or greater of their total intake.

• Ensure that there is ample access to clean water.

• For grain feeding of cattle the intake of grain should be gradually introduced to the cattle, to allow the rumen to adapt and to avoid Acidosis/grain poisoning. Small amounts should be fed at first, slowly increasing over a 3 week period.

• Improvement in performance when compared to using traditional grain feeding.

• Excellent conditioning and growth rates.

 

VETERINARY CHEMICALS

This feed contains the following veterinary chemical:-

• Monensin sodium at the rate of 25-30 mg/kg.

 

MEDICINAL CLAIM

Monensin sodium is added to this feed to improve the efficiency of rumen digestion, improve feed efficiency, weight gain and aid in the control of bloat.
