Similar to PUR / PIR pre-insulated duct panel,  we offer a new option that is phenolic foam pre insulated air duct.    It is better than PUR / PIR because it has the same thermal insulation performance but better fire resistance performance.

 

Unlike PUR / PIR,  the phenolic foam pre insulated air ducts can reach Class A fire safety.  In fire, its smoke density is only 2% and the smoke is not toxic.  There will be no drips in fire. 

 

Compared with PUR / PIR, the phenolic foam pre insulated air ducts are not more expensive but safer when bring fire into consideration.  Phenolic foam is very good at dimension / shape stability.  As time passed, there is nothing change but color.  PUR / PIR has aging / shrinking / fragile problem as time passes.
