Description

Expanded graphite is also named flexible graphite. Expanded graphite is a kind of new carbon material with graphite as raw material, natural graphite, sulfuric acid ,nitric acid and other chemical reagents role evolved after heating, the formation of intercalation compounds; after high temperature treatment, the rapid decomposition, after the second expansion, the volume can be increased to 400 times as the original, so it called the expanded graphite. It is porous, strong adsorption, elastic. Temperature range is wide, between -200-3600 °C. Can withstand the neutron, gamma, beta - ray exposure. Work in high temperature, high pressure or radiation condition, no decomposition, deformation or aging. It with stable chemical properties. This product is widely used as a fire sealing element, flame retardant, fire brick, also can be used as thermal insulation, sound insulation and shock, lining material, is a novel promising engineering materials.

 

Main Application: Additive of Metallurgical thermal insulation material ,the raw material of flexible graphite paper, cell adsorption material; lubricant additive; fire extinguishing agent additive

Properties:

It has good expansibility, its manufactured goods has the advantages of high temperature resistance, heat insulation, lubricating and chemical stability.

 

Expansion Rate: During 150ml/g to 350ml/g.
