TCI-V stackable syringe pump is designed for delivery of anesthetics drugs bytargetcontrolled infusion (TCI) according to pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetics and the experience in clinical use. It makes use of the integration of the technology of micro-processor control and precise manufacture. It is available for performing anintravenous analgesia infusion.

Functions and Features of  infusion syringe pump :

(1) Operation modes: Plasma target controlled infusion(TCI) mode, Effect site target controlled infusion(TCI)mode, Continuous-flow rate infusion mode, Bolus & infusion mode (TIVA mode), Volume and time infusion mode, ml/h infusion mode.

A) Plasma target controlled Infusion (TCI) mode enables the user to control the infusion by setting the target plasma concentration. The pump calculates the infusion flow rate that is required to maintain the desired concentration according to the pharmacokinetic model. Infusion rates will be adjusted automatically.

B) Effect-site target Controlled Infusion (TCI) mode enables userto control the infusion by setting the target effect-site concentration. Infusion rates will be adjusted automatically.

The pump delivers drugs to maintain the desired concentration according to the pharmacokinetic model. The Infusion rates are altered automatically.

C) Continuous-flow infusion mode enables user to control the infusion by setting various flow rates. Nine different flow rate units could be selected: ml/min,mg/h,µg/h,mg/min,µg/min,mg/kg/h,µg/kg/h,mg/kg/min,µg/kg/min.

D) Bolus & infusion mode (TIVA mode) enables user to control infusion by setting drug concentration, induction (Bolus) volume, induction (Bolus) time and maintenance (infusion) rate, this infusion is simple to operate.

E) Volume and time infusion mode enables the user to control the infusion by setting the specified dosage and specified time to be infused. The syringe pump can automatically calculate the infusion rate, and the infusion is performed with this rate.

F) ml/h infusion mode, takes the easiest and common ml/h as speed unit in clinical, and display the infusion rate and infusion accumulation amount during infusion.

(3) Bolus function: help patients to past the stimulative phase safely and steadily.

(4) Keep vein open (KVO) will be triggered automatically when the selected infusion is stopped. During which a minimal rate infusion will be delivered (0.1--2.5 ml) to preserve venous patency. User can adjust KVO Rate during infusion.

(5) Alarm and Warns: when something abnormal occurs, the pump can give out audible alarm and warning information such as AC power fail, battery low,battery emptySyringeChanged ,drug almost Empty, drug empty, occlusion,infusion Complete, syringe disengaged, stand by, Speed malfunction(fast), Speed malfunction(slow), Speed malfunction(stopped), etc.

(6)Modular Design, designed for both stationary and mobile use freely. The pumps can be assembled to a unit to save room or it mounted independently.
