This ray box set provides an inexpensive solution to the problem of equipping laboratories for individual student work in optics and color investigation. It can be used to perform experiments such as reflection, refraction, focal length determination and color mixing. A ventilated die cast alloy with baked enamel finish, lamp house having an open front with extended sides, finned externally for heat dissipation and vertical internal grooves to accommodate a slit plate and a cylindrical lens. It has a light source comprising a 12V lamp in a holder with 1 meter of twin flex wire having 4mm banana plugs. Complete with metal slit plate whitened on one side and the other side black matt having single and triple slits.
