Natural Borneol
Borneol is extracted from the fresh leaf of Blumea balsamifera
Appearance: white and translucence flake crystal, Massive crystal or granular crystal,a slightly hard and brittle.so it is not easy to break when twisting by hand. With fragrance clearance, taste pungent and cool , possess volatile.When ignite it,have the black smoke ,yellow flame. No Residual.
It is can be easily solved in ethanol, chloroform or ethyl ether, hardly solved in water.

Summary: With strong pine incense, camphor breath and mint smell. Sublimating when heated, volatilizing at room temperature. Melting point 208°C (racemicbody) and the boiling point 212~214°C and flash point 65.6 °C, relative density 1.011 (20 °C). Insoluble in water, but soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether and chloroform.
Natural laevoisomer exists in nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, etc, dextro-isomer exists in coriander, citronella, etc, racemicbody exists in camphor, rosemary, thyme, etc.
Recommended dosage: 0.25~5.1mg/kg in final food.
