Appearance: white to light yellow paste

Acid value: < 5 KOH/g

Amine value: < 5 KOH/g

None volatiles: ≥ 20%

Flash point: 60℃

Solvent: xylene

 

Third, application

 

1. The product is widely used in all kinds of coatings to give coatings thixotropy structure. It can improve pigment’s suspension property, control sagging without sacrificing flowing and leveling. It can also control permeability to porous object and generally it doesn’t react with other components of coating. In organic system, it doesn’t affect water-resistant and has no bad effect on coating’s durability. What’s more, it doesn’t turn yellow in coating film and can give coatings stored stability.

2. The product’s rheological property has a little dependency on temperature, resin and solvent types, and it has excellent anti-sagging effect under high temperature. It also has good effect like anti-sagging and anti-sink in various kinds of resin systems such like epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic acid, alkyd, unsaturated polyester, chlorinated rubber, amino resin, middle and low polarity solvent. It is an effective rheological additive in amino baking varnish, acrylic baking paint, epoxy baking paint, high solid content coating, metal coating and thick coating.

 

Fourth, attention

 

1. When add LD-2004 into coating directly, we recommend dispersing it in high-speed dispersing machine under 80℃.

2. We recommend adding the product with resin powder together before grinding.

3. If add the product after grinding, adjust dispersing machine at 1500r/min and then disperse for 10-30 minutes to make sure that the system can disperse evenly.

4. Stored sealed before using up.

25kg/drum or 50kg/ drum

Stored in dark place and keep dry.
