Flange Nuts is like a hex nut with washer, but it’s integrated parts, can’t be seperated.  It’s also known as serrated flange nut, hex flange nut, hex washer nut. The flange surface can be serrated or flat, the serration can prevent the nut from rotation. but in the hard surface or need to use with flat washer, then the serrate surface can’t be used.

There are another types flange nuts, Hex Lock Flange Nut With Nylon Insert, Hex Lock Flange Nut All Metal Type.

Material: Steel , Low carbon steel for grade 5; Medium Carbon Steel ( SAE1035 ) for grade 8 ; Stainless steel ( SUS200, SUS201, SUS304 or SUS316 available );
Surface Treatment: Zinc Plated, Chrome Plated for steel type; Washer and passivated for stainless steel
