Albendazole is a kind of low-toxic and efficient anthelminthic. It is used to expel roundworm, pinworm, tapeworm, whipworm, hookworm, strongyloidiasis and so on. After the metabolism comes to sulfoxides and sulfones, it inhibits parasites to absorb glucose and cause the body deplete glycogen, or inhibits fumaric acid reductive enzyme system to block the ATP production, make the parasites cannot survive or reproduce.
