Intended Use

Mycoplasma pneumoniae is spread through respiratory droplet transmission and can cause atypical pneumonia, bronchitis etc. Various studies suggest that it causes 10% of all pneumonia in adults and 20%-25% percentage of pneumonia in children. Rapid MP Strip is a direct test for the qualitative detection of MP antibodies.

It is based on the principle of capturing method, which employs MP recombinant antigen and anti-human polyclonal antibody to selectively identify MP antibody in serum.

PRINCIPLE

When the MP to be seized samples containing antibodies, the monoclonal antibody labeled with gold to form the first complex, and move forward under the action of the chromatography, and then reaction with the coating antigen, there a visible line test line T, as positive results; unreacted markers continue to move forward with anti-mouse antibodies, forming a line control line C. If the test line does not appear, the result is negative.

Test Procedure

Please read the instruction carefully. If the not ready, do not tear foil bag

1. Open the sealed foil pouch bag, take out the cassette and put it on the table.

2. Use dropper adds 1 drop (30ul) whole blood into the hole and then add 2 drops(80ul) Specimen Buffer into the hole and read results within 10-20 minutes.

3. Wait for 10-20 minutes and read result. Read result after 20 minutes may give erroneous results.

Result Judgment

Negative: Only one colored line appear on the control region. No apparent line on the test region.

Positive: In addition to a colored control line, a colored line will also appear on the test region.

Invalid: A total absence of colored line in both (T) and (C) regions or no colored line appears on the control (C) region. The test failed, or the test procedure was not followed properly. Verify the test procedure and repeat the test with a new testing device.

Attentions

1. The fresh blood is critical. Do not freeze and thaw the specimen repeatedly.

2. The result is erroneous after the testing time.

4. Infection or in a short time window of the specimens, the antibody did not exist or too low, the reagent negative results occur.

Storage and Expiry

1.The test kit is to be stored at room temperature 4~30°Cin the sealed pouch.

2. The shelf life is 24 months.

3. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Avoid freezing and thawing repeatedly.
