24kW CHP Biogas Generator / Natural Gas Generator / Cogeneration / CHP Power Generator
--- An efficient Way to Use Energy
CAMDA is not only a diesel genset supplier, but a gas genset manufacturer as well. In cooperation with China Cummins, CAMDA has developed its own H series gas generator. Such fuel as biogas, natural gas, LPG, coal bed methane, landfill gas, etc. are applicable to our gas gensets.
What is cogeneration, or CHP?
Cogeneration (also combined heat and power, CHP) refers to the use of a heat engine or a power station to simultaneously generates both electricity and useful heat. E.g. Thermal power stations. The heat engine can be installed with CHP system to convert the waste heat into power.
Cogeneration on heat engines, (including those running on diesel, petroleum, and gas), collects heat mostly from exhaust gas, jacket water, and sometimes from intercooler through heat exchangers. In this way, like a fan radiator, it replaces standard cooling system of heat engines. Besides, it can also convert the heat into either warm water (for household heating) or steam (for industrial boiler) depending on final applications.
