1. Dunaliella salina (scientific name Dunaliella salina) is a halophilic green microalgae belonging to the genus Chlorella, which is common in sea salt fields. Due to its unique color, the lake will be dyed red or pink. In the lake of Retba, 35 kilometers north of the capital of Senegal in West Africa, the lake is dyed into a unique pink color due to the action of Dunaliella algae, giving it the nickname "Pink Lake".
