| PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

 

MELSET is sheath-core structure filament  yarn.

The sheath part is made of crystaline co-PET. (Melting point is 160℃)

The core part is made of high viscosity PET.(Melting point is 250℃)

 

 

The sheath part melts sharply by heat treatment ( 170℃~190℃), and solidfies after cooling down process.

 

 

 

 

MELSET can solve various problems about fibers or metal products. 

 

1. MELSET can become an alternative material with metal products.
light weight and high rigidly. → easy to carry and set up.

2. MELSET needs no chemical resin finishing, Just heat treatment.

After a heat treatment, MELSET melts toghether to be like a monofilament.
In abrasion test, the rope blended with MELSET has higher abrasion resistance

than regular polyester rope.
