OLT Optic Line Terminal
OLT equipment is an important central office equipment, which can be connected to the front-end (aggregation layer) switch with network cables, converted into optical signals, and connected to the user-end optical splitter with a single optical fiber; to achieve the control and management of the user-end equipment ONU, Ranging; and like the ONU device, it is a photoelectric integrated device.

BRAS
Broadband Access Server (BRAS) mainly completes two functions. One is the network bearer function, which is responsible for terminating the user's PPPoE (Point-to-Point Potocol Over Ethernet, which is a way to transfer PPP sessions on Ethernet), and converging the user's flow function; the second is to control the implementation function, and the authentication system, The charging system cooperates with the customer management system and the service policy control system to realize the authentication, charging and management functions of user access.
