Product Description
Test Principle: Glucose in the blood sample mixes with special chemicals in the test strip and a small electric current is
produced. The strength of this current changes with amount of glucose in the blood sample. Your meter measures the current,
calculates your blood glucose level, displays the result, and stores it in its memory. Test Summary: 1. Insert a test strip,
contact bars end first and facing up, into the test port. Push it in until it will go no further. The meter will turn on. A beep
will sound and a clock-wise moving dotted lines will appear followed by a flashing drop symbol. Now you are ready to obtain a
blood sample. 2. After obtaining a blood sample, touch and hold the drop of blood to the narrow channel in top edge of the test
strip until the confirmation window is full before the meter begins to count down. 3. After 5seconds, your blood glucose result
will appear on the display and will be stored into the meter memory automatically. Read Test Results: Press M to turn on the
meter. The date and time will appear first. Press M to review previous results. Results will be shown staring with the most
recent. When the memory is full, the oldest result will be removed and replaced with the newest result. Read Average Result Press
M to turn on the meter. The date and time will appear first. Press M again to view the day average results. Exit Memory To exit
the memory mode, press M to turn off the meter. Warning: Alternate site testing should ONLY be used in the follwing intervals: 1.
In a pre-meal or fasting state. 2. Two hours or more after taking insulin. 3. Two hours or more after exercise DO NOT use
