Commonly used temperatures are preset for fast scrolling, and exact temperature selection is made with the + or – buttons. With a precise, automatic Keep Warm feature the desired temperature can be maintained for up to one hour. If the kettle is removed from the base while the kettle is active, press the Keep Warm button to return to the last temperature used. If all you want is boiling water, no problem. Simply press the “Smart Boil” button and the kettle bypasses any set temperature to go straight to boil.

Timing is Everything

For consistent pour-overs, a built-in timer can be programmed to count up or count down and is ready at the touch of a button whether the kettle is seated on the base or not. If your routine calls for heated water at the same time every day, an Auto-start feature lets users set the time at which the kettle will reach the selected temperature.

Accuracy

Digital control heats water to within one-degree Fahrenheit, plus or minus for the most accurate temperature control available. Current and target water temperatures are displayed while heating and can be changed from Celsius to Fahrenheit at the push of a button. Precision pour control thanks to ergonomically balanced handles and the competition inspired gooseneck spouts of the Smart Pour 2 and Artisan kettles or the tapered, open spout of the cupping kettle.

Patented high-altitude boil sensing software stops the heating cycle once boiling is detected and stores that temperature for the next use. For users that want to set the kettle to higher temperatures than boiling at their elevation, this feature can be disabled. Kettles automatically shut off after 60 minutes of inactivity.
