The winery dates back to the early 20's. The former owner, the baron Raimondo Franchetti,was a venetian Doge who decided to invest in the area.The Doges were important authorities in Venice for 1000 years, until 1800. Ernest Hemingway who enjoyed speding some time in the area, was often his guest. Since 2015, the whole property belongs to the family Zanchetton. A family with a strong passion for good wine!
After 5 years of huge investments, the winery is now owning 140 hectars mostly grown at glera grape (Prosecco), Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay,Merlot,Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nero.
