What is Pre-Shipment Inspection?
PSI stands for Pre-shipment Inspection. It is also called as Final Random Inspection or Final Inspection.
This Inspection is normally conducted on-site or source where product is manufactured and sometimes at forwarder's premises.
At the stage when 100% production is completed and at least 80% goods are completely packed in cartons and ready for shipment.
This Inspection is conducted on the standards of internationally recognized ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-2008 (Equivalent to MIL-STD-105 E, ISO 2859) statistical sampling procedures.

Q: Why do I need product quality inspections or factory audits?
A: In case of any poor quality, incorrect shipments, unreal information from suppliers, inspection is the most efficient way to protect buyer’s right.
When you are going to place order with a new supplier and you want to know well about their capacity, a supplier audit will be an ideal way which helps you a lot to make decisions.
Q: How to start the inspection/audit?
A: Client sends us the booking and books 2-3 days in advance. We contact factory to confirm the inspection. Client confirms the inspection plan and pay. We perform the inspection and client gets inspection report within 24 hours.
Q: What we need to provide you for inspection/audit?
A: The factory contact detail, products information as well as your special quality control requirements if you have. Some clients will send approved samples also.
Q: What information does the inspection report include?
A: Our written reports are very detailed, including accurate description of all defects and inconsistencies, statistic analysis based on the highly recognized AQL standard and plentiful spot pictures for illustration. A written report and original pictures will be provided within 24 hours after inspection/audit.
