“Sigma” Group of Companies was founded in 1991 as a manufacturing and tading company. Today the “Sigma” Group of Companies is the largest agro-industrial holding in the Urals District and the Republic of Bashkortostan, which includes:
Plant for the refinement and deodorization of vegetable oils, “Sigma” LLC (Chelyabinsk region, Kopeisk). It became the first production site in the holding structure. The plant was built in 1999. In 2004, the plant carried out technological re-equipment of production assets (ALFA LAVAL, Sweden). Capacities for the production of refined oil were put into operation (production capacity of 7 000 tons per month). In 2007, two new bottled oil production lines were commissioned (SIPA Italy). This allowed to increase the production of bottled oil to 7 000 bottles per month.
Oil extraction plant “Chishminsky MEZ” LLC (Republic of Bashkortostan). Plant for the production of weight unrefined and refined deodorized sunflower oil and processed products based on sunflower seeds, rapeseed. The volume of processing of sunflower seeds – 1000 tons per day. Vegetable oil produced at the Chishminsky oil extraction plant is sent to the partners of the company for the production of margarine, mayonnaise, as well as for the production of bottled sunflower oil inside the holding.
“Elevator” LLC (Republic of Bashkortostan). “Elevator” LLC produces the bulk of press oil, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Oil extraction plant “Mayachny” is a modern large-scale investment project of “Sigma” Group of Companies. The plant was commissioned in 2016 using the most advanced energy-saving technologies, operates on European equipment, which allows producing oil with a low content of oxidation products and phospholipids. An innovative production site allows processing up to 520 000 tons of sunflower seeds per year. The volume of pressed sunflower oil produced by the MEZ reaches 230 000 tons per year. The main sales channel is export.
