Isoquercitrin exists in the flower of Lidan (Malvaceae), the leaves of kenaf (Apocynacese)

and Lithocarpus polystachyus Rehd. It is yellow crystalline powder.Isoquercetin is presently

being investigated  for prevention of thromboembolism in selected cancer patients and as an

anti-fatigue agent in kidney cancer patients treated with sunitinib.

Application:

 

1. As an anti-oxidant, isoquercitrin has been  widely used in anti-aging and preventing disease.

2. Isoquercitrin can be used as anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, anti-neurasthenic ingredient in

functional foods and supplementary  medicines.

3. Isoquercitrin possesses anti-virus activity, which is used for hepatitis and jaundice therapy.
