The Balance Between Weight and Cost-Performances

After thousands time of trial and error, we finally came up with a new design and successfully decreased the weight of 11 speed 11-46T splined freehub type cassette to astonishing 357 grams and we also find a right way to control the price and the quality. Now, you can save nearly 300 grams of weight without emptying your pocket. 

The Earlier Thoughts.

Talking about lose cassette's weight, the first thing we came up with somthing like this. A CNC machined spider and some steel cogs riveting on it. This is might be a cheaper solution, but larger cogs would still be quiet heavy. The weight could go up to 580 grams, even that is better than orginal 660 grams, but we are not satisfied.

The Idea Of CNC Larger Cogs.

After studing a lot of famous brands, we are start to looking into a one-piece full CNC solution. Full steel design is the best solution for the strength and durability, but full steel cost a lot. Then we consider the full aluminum design, but use aluminum alloy to make smaller cogs could make cassette easy to wear out. So we decide to only use aluminum alloy to make larger cogs.

Smoother Gear Ratio

Instead of traditional 11-13-15-18-21-24-28-32-36-42-50 gear ratio, now we changed to  11-13-15-18-21-24-28-32-38-44-50. With a smoother gear ratio, it will be easier for rear derailleurs to shift.

A: Sample order is welcome here. Mixed samples are acceptable. We can supply the sample if we have ready parts in stock, but the customers have to pay the sample cost and the courier cost.

A: Most of our products are in stock ,1-3 days for sample or small amount orders, 20-30 days for mass production depending on actual order size.

Q3. Do you have any MOQ limit for the order?

A: Low MOQ, 1pc for sample checking is available

Q4. How do you ship the goods and how long does it take to arrive?

A: We usually ship by express way like DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT. It usually takes 3-5 days to arrive. Airline and sea shipping are also optional.

Secondly, we quote according to your requirements or our suggestions.
Thirdly, customer confirms the samples and places deposit for formal order.

A: Yes. Please inform us formally before our production and confirm the design firstly based on our sample.

Q7: Do you offer guarantee for the products?

A: Yes, we offer 1-year warranty to our products.

Q8: How to deal with the faulty?

A: All our products are produced in strict quality control system and the defective rate will be less 
than 0.2%.  During the guarantee period, we will send new products for small quantity. For defective batch products, we will repair them and resend them to you or we can discuss the solution including re-call according to real situation.
