WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO?
La Genovese is based in Albenga, Italy.
The company is run from the third generation of Borea family which carries on the philosophy of the founding grandfather but always looking to the future with an innovative and environmentally friendly spirit.
We are a family of Italian coffee roasters and we produce coffee blends since 1936.

Our family’s 80 years experience in producing and selling Italian Espresso coffee blends is the strongest reason which guarantees to all our customers top quality products and professional service. We are selling abroad since 1994 and our brand is distributed worldwide.
In 2003 we moved in a 1100 square meters new headquarters and the old one was rebuild in 2005 to host "Caffè & Dintorni", our shop.
WE DO EXPORT
In 1994 we started to export our coffee, in particular we start to distribute it in Romania.
Our first participation to an international exhibition was in 200 at the "Salon des Saveurs" in Paris.
Over 50% of La Genovese coffee is sold abroad. This important international development is also due to the entry into the company of the third generation.
Today our brand is present worldwide and our long experience make us very well organized to deliver our fresh coffee all over the world.
LaG ACADEMY
Coffee is a rich and wonderful world that's why we dedicate a specific area of the company to the Academy.
LaG Academy provide courses for Baristas and coffee lovers from the secrets of green coffee and roasting to Latte Art.
We strongly believe in training and we always keep up to date, improve the experience of offering or enjoy a coffee and refine your senses.
Certifications
We have always believed in training and tried to do our best in production.
The ISO 9001 and the INEI certifications of our blends were the flywheel for important international awards such as the numerous Gold medals awarded to us by the International Coffee Tasting.
At the same time we want to be attentive to the environment and respectful of human dignity and naturally we have introduced organic coffee and UTZ certificates.
