• Backlight-guide-board is the primary component of keyboard display, its brightness is related to the display effect of the whole keyboard.


• LGF Module is composed by Guide-film , Diffusion film and Reflection Film .


• The uniformity of backlight is mainly related to the dot of the LGF , which is located at the bottom of the LGF. Because of the direct LED light , the single-side backlight emitting  gradually increases from the nearby position to the opposite side, becomes larger and larger, which is conducive to the reflection of light in a large area

KEYBOARD LGF Module Working Principle

• The LED lamp will turn on after switch on , the light emit to every area through the dot of LGF ,  Using the principle of light reflection and refraction, combined with special optical software design, to make "dot light source" enlarge "plane light source".

The light emitted by the light source enters the light guide film, some of which will act directly on the surface of the light guide film, while the other part will be reflected by the fine convex light-emitting dot on the lower surface of the light guide film, and then act on the reflected light through the uniform light of the lower diffusion layer. Based on the principle of light reflection and refraction, combined with the design of special optical software, it is transformed into high brightness and uniform distribution surface light Source, so as to achieve the best effect of uniform luminescence
