Description

HILIC Column
Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) is a chromatographic technique used to improve the retention of strong polar substances in reversed-phase chromatography. It works by adopting a strong polar stationary phase and combining mobile-phase with a high proportion of organic phases. HILIC has a wide variety of stationary phases, and in principle, any stationary phase with the polar surface can use in HILIC mode. Therefore, stationary phases such as silica, amino (NH2), diol, and cyanogen (CN) in the positive phase chromatography can also use as stationary phases for HILIC.
