The range of foundry equipment manufactured by our plant includes the 44124 model shot-blasting machine. This machine is intended for shot blasting of castings, forgings, rolled products, welds, heat treated parts, glass, stone and other materials.
Field of application The equipment is used in the foundry industry as a component part of blasting units
Product design The machine is secured on its foundation by means of three supports screwed to the lower chamber. As a result, the lower chamber with supports becomes the machine base to which the following units are mounted: mixing chamber on the lower part, sequential diverter valve and loading device on the upper part. The valve block is mounted to the upper chamber by means of a flange connection.
The electric cabinet is attached to a wall or special rack in a place convenient for control operations. There is a flange in the upper part of the unit for connection to the shot storage tank.
The unit performs the following operations: collecting of shot from storage tank, automatic transportation of shot into the lower chamber, formation of shot and compressed air mixture, feeding of the mixture into nozzle extension for discharging it onto processed surface.
Shot extraction from the storage tank is carried out by means of arc door loading device. Door opening is carried out by a single-action pneumatic cylinder, closing is carried out by an extension spring and counterbalance.
The unit automatically transports shot in the mixing chamber according to its consumption.
Shot and compressed air mixture is formed in the mixing chamber, it is fed to the nozzle through the nozzle extension arm where it is accelerated and discharged onto a processed surface.
The unit operating mode is automatic. The unit is controlled remotely from the electric cabinet.
