Az. Agr. San Gregorio - 120 ha of which 20 hectares with Vineyard, is a small traditional winery placed in south Tuscany.
San Gregorio is a conventional family run boutique Winery set in Italy on the southern Tuscany hills of Siena: we are true wine producers and all the wines we produce and bottle are made only with the grapes harvested in our vineyards, we do not buy grapes nor wine from other producers.
The Estate is an historical one in this area, till now we have mainly sold our wine locally. Only recently we have started
improving our international trade and would be very glad to start cooperating with you.
We mainly produce Chianti Colli Senesi docg and Chianti Colli Senesi Poggio Pagliaio Riserva docg. Nonetheless we also have some very pleasant IGT Tuscany Red wines: Camars, which is a blend of Tuscan Barbera and Colorino grapes and Canaiolo, a 100% canaiolo grapes.
We produce Vin Santo and extra virgin olive oil too.
San Gregorio Estate also owns a Cinta Senese Pigs breeding farm, a niche very refined traditional local race, whoxe production is allowed only in a very small area. The Cinta Senese Pigs are sold locally still alive. Last July we opened an Agriturismo inside the winery, a sort of country hotel, a way to give national and international tourists the possibility to spend their holidays in our Tuscan wine Estate.
