1.Product description

Bepiolite is a water-containing magnesium-rich silicate clay mineral with a layered chain structure. The orthorhombic system or monoclinic system is generally in the form of massive, soil or fibrous aggregates. The color is white, light gray, dark gray, yellow brown, rose red, light blue green. The fresh surface is pearly luster, and the earthy luster after weathering. Hardness 2 ~ 3, density 2 ~ 2.5g / cm3. Has a slippery and astringent feel, sticky tongue. It is brittle in a dry state. The shrinkage rate is low, the plasticity is good, the specific surface is large, and the adsorption is strong. It is soluble in hydrochloric acid and light in weight. Sepiolite also has the properties of decolorization, heat insulation, insulation, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance and thermal stability. It is mainly produced in marine sedimentary-weathered ore deposits; it also occurs in hydrothermal veins.
