SN-2 Abrasive

Performance Descriptions

 

SN-2 abrasive is improved secondary-generation aluminum oxide abrasive developed by Yize. It’s a specially designed structure (special chemical composition and micro structure) that has terrific grinding effects for high hardness materials. Different content of SN-2 achieves different application effect.

 

 

Application Fields

 

Commonly used in cast iron, stainless steel, high nickel alloy, and titanium alloy where extraordinary performance is brought into play.

Other industries including:

Bearing: internal grinding, cylindrical inner channel grinding, double-end face grinding, centreless grinding.

Auto industry: internal grinding and double-end face grinding.

Steel industry: roller grinding and centreless grinding.

Gear machining: high-speed gear grinding and better performance in medium module gear machining. 

 

 

 

For Yize’s two different types of abrasives, the basic chemical components and micro structure are similar, the difference lies in self-sharpening performance, SN-2 is improved by 25% compared with SN-1. SN-1 is more durable, and SN-2 has better effect in high speed low grinding force, or application that has higher demand for sharpening. Despite their different application, both types of abrasives are suitable for ceramic substrate and resin substrate abrasives products.
