POM-H is manufactured using DuPont™ Delrin®150 resin
POM Delrin Sheet
pom sheets, plates are among the strongest and stiffest of all thermoplastics.
Acetal and pom plastic materials are characterised by good fatigue life, low moisture sensitivity, and high resistance to solvents
and chemicals.
pom sheet also contain good electrical properties. Homopolymer and Copolymer grade of acetal (Ertacetal brand name) are available
including an enhanced bearing grade material.
Features
Natural pom sheet is also named as POM sheet. Natural pom sheet is a cream-colored thermoplastic resin which is very excellent
physical and mechanical properties. It has the follow features:
1) Good overall performance, and coloration, high strength reach to metal.
2) Tensile strength, flexural strength, creep resistance and fatigue resistance.
3) Low coefficient of friction.
4) Excellent chemical resistance.
Applications of antistatic polyacetal pom plastic sheet
Because pom sheet has excellent chemical resistance and very low moisture absorption, it is often chosen and is a widely specified
engineering plastic within the brewing industry. Also because of the very low moisture absorption, pom sheet is highly recommended
within the food industry having received Food & Drug .Administration approval and also the marine industry for the fact that pom
sheet is non hydroscopic the finished machined product will not expand or swell due to moisture absorption.
