This item allows multiple pieces of base materials to be fastened easily and quickly on a single side of the working surface. Compared with the conventional fastening methods of welding and self-tapping screws, these rivets make assembly more efficient and reduce the costs involved. In addition to their ease of handling even for first-time users, you will also find them easy to work with for long periods of time as only lightweight fastening tools are required. Moreover, the cross-section of POPRivets allows for the automation of your assembly line. This is an environmentally friendly fastening method that does not generate any electric sparks or dust.
The HRrivetsⓇ (Rolling Type) has a unique structure that allows plates with a wide range of different thicknesses to be securely fastened with a powerful crimp force between the workpieces. As the rivet body covers the mandrel head like a bag, the mandrel head does not fall off from the buckling side after fastening. The cap rivet combines an HR Rivets® and resin cap for highly waterproof functionality.

The work hole diameter of the cap rivet is larger than that of standard rivets. The cap rivet features IPX8-equivalent waterproof performance that does not leak. If the product name has the notation "GJB," the surface treatment is "GEOMET® + JL". GEOMET® is a registered trademark of NOF Metal Coatings. Sealed Tight (STSS) rivets achieve watertightness at the same high level as shield rivets, in which the rivet body covers the mandrel head like a bag. Moreover, the mandrel head does not fall off from the buckling side. The rivets generate pressure bonding force at the same high level as HR Rivets, in which the rivet body buckles into a bulb shape. They fix powerfully after finishing with the mandrel head, and resist generation of abnormal noise.
In watertight testing (equivalent to IPX7 water column testing), Sealed Tight (STSS) rivets did not leak.
