1. Modules and devices needed:

MEGA2560 Main Control Panel (included with the kit) : This is the brain of the 3D printer, responsible for controlling the whole printer to complete specific actions, such as printing specific documents, etc.;
Ramps 1.4 (this kit includes) : This is an extension board of the main control board above. It is for better connection and control with other hardware, and plays the role of transition bridge.
A4988 stepper motor drive board (the kit includes) : this is used to connect the stepper motor, so as to realize the main control board to the stepper motor control, XYZ and extruder action;

4 ~ 5 stepper motors (not included in this kit) : This is the power part of the 3D printer, controlled by the A4988 drive board, and connected to the RAMPS1.4 board;

Heating head (not included) :
The heating head is used to melt printing materials (ABS, PLA, etc.). Generally, there are two electrical components in the heating head. One electric heating wire can be used for heating after electrified, similar to electric heating furnace. before allowing for temperature to obtain success in many operations, so even a simple test also need to connect two thermistor (another used to obtain hot bed temperature),

Heatbed (not included in this kit) : in order to make ABS invariable and the first layer easily stick to the platform, the general solution is to use a hot bed. The hot bed also contains two parts, the heating part and thermistor, of which thermistor is required.

12V power supply (not included) : In order to drive the motor and the circuit board, you need to have a 12V 100W to 200W power supply.

The above part is the necessary part of the circuit connection, if missing one, will not be able to carry out the corresponding part of the test.

Other non-essential items include a 12V fan and at least 3 limit switches. (If you do not have a 12V fan, it will not affect the test of the board, but it will affect the use of the printer. If you do a complete printer, this is a must, especially limit switches.)
