Canine Pregnancy Relaxin Rapid Test
Relaxin is a specific hormone generated mainly by the placenta. It is usually used as an indicator of pregnancy status in female dogs. In pregnant dogs, relaxin can be detected from 15 days after the nidation of fertilized egg in the uterus wall. The Canine Pregnancy@Relaxin Rapid Test is a rapid test to detect relaxin in bitches that may be pregnant. The suggested detection period is 20-30 days after mating. Too early detection may lead to a negative result when relaxin in serum is too low. It is suggested to repeat the test after 1 week if a negative result was observed.
Specimen: Serum, or plasma.
Detection Limit: 3.8ng/mL

TEST PROCEDURE
a) When specimen and test kits are stored at cold circumstances (2~8 °C), put them at
room temperature for 15~30 minutes before use.
b) Take out a device from a pouch and place it on a horizontal surface.
c) Using a dropper as a pipette, obtain the specimen and dispense 1 drop (40 ) of the
fluid into specimen well(S) of appropriately labeled device.
d) When the specimen is completely absorbed into each the specimen well (S), drop
about 1 drop (40 ) of buffer , respectively.
e) Read the test results between 5 ~ 10 minutes.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Positive: The presence of both C band and T band, no matter T band is clear or vague.
Negative: Only clear C band appears.
Invalid: No colored band appears in C zone, no matter whether T band appears.
