Introduction

 

The SF6 Gas Insulated Load Break Switch is designed to meet increasing requirement of the electric utility industry, providing a safe, low maintenance, long life, economical device to perform load switching on overhead distribution lines. The switch is applicable to 12(max. 15), 24(max. 25.8), 36(max. 38) kV the overhead distribution systems. It can be operated manually or electrically via controller with FTU and should be mounted to the cross arm of a pole.

The switch will be of three-phase design to maintain an open/closed state regardless of the energized status of the circuit and we provide you the operating rod for manual operation.

The operating rod have adjustable length to allow the installation of the switch at a variable height so as to operate the manual handle installed in switch. The switch have puffer housing structure to quench the inside arc due to opening duration. And the switch shall have an operating hook, which can operated manually by means of a hook-stick.

 

 

Application and characteristics:

The pole mounted SF6 Gas insulated load break switch is designed to use an innovative puffer principle to extinguish the arc of full-load interruptions quickly and efficiently.

The Automatic model can be configured as a remote controlled switch.

The integrated type controller includes FTU (remote control, Status monitoring), metering (current, voltage, power factor, frequency, power, energy, counter) & recording (events, fault current waveforms, data logging).
